Visited Hear and now to discuss hearing issues I had with my current hearing aids and get a hearing test. From the first time I walked in the service received from the whole team (Mike, Yan and Joy) was friendly, professional and efficient. The hearing test was comprehensive and the advice given informative. It is nice to see a nice friendly independent family business. Will certainly use again when required.

Visiting Hear & Now was my first experience of an audiologist so I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect but any expectations I had were exceeded.
A friendly, professional service with appointments easy to come by, first rate advice and after sales care.
I’m sure you would not receive this service at a high street chain or, indeed, at many independent providers.
I approached Hear & Now in Ripon to get some new Hearing Aids. My old ones had packed up after about 9 years usage.
I was impressed by the friendly and professional service that I received and now have the latest hearing aid technology supplied by them.

After a rather disappointing journey with the NHS, I was looking for something better to enhance my deteriorating hearing. Hear and Now has provided that improvement with excellent, professional and independent advice, consistent over a period of some five years now. The level of customer care is excellent, and I would recommend them to others seeking assistance with hearing loss.
After trying other private hearing practitioners, it was refreshing to find an audiologist who took the time to really understand my hearing issues and supply devices that improved my day to day hearing. Highly recommended.

Mike the audiologist and his team Yan and Joy go out of their way to make you feel at ease, the hearing assessment is done very thoroughly and professional in a relaxed friendly manner at no time do you feel pressured into making a decision on hearing aids. I am delighted with my hearing aids from Hear and Now and the difference they have made. I recommend them 100%.
My experience with this firm has been outstanding. It is an example of how a service like this should be run. Excellent informative communication initially with all your questions answered. Follow ups have been frequent with plenty of opportunity to ask about queries or concerns which are fully addressed. You are encouraged to contact them at any time if you have a query or need help. The efficient reception always makes you feel welcome and comfortable and nothing seems to be too much trouble.

I recently purchased my hearing aids from hear and now, and I must say the experience has been exceptional. From the comprehensive testing, the referral to NHS ENT to check there was nothing underlying, to the attentive aftercare, no pushy sales, everything was above and beyond what I expected. The specialist's expertise and care throughout the process were truly commendable and the dedicated support made the entire process seamless. I highly recommend their services for anyone seeking professional, thorough, and caring assistance with their hearing needs. The staff are so friendly and you will be well looked after by them.
Dealing with Hear and Now has been a really good experience. Upon arrival you are greeted by either Yan or Joy, both are very friendly and welcoming. They immediately put you at ease. Mike Wells the Principal Audiologist is very friendly and carries out the hearing test, fitting & subsequent checks in a professional manner. Excellent staff, service and product. I would highly recommend this family firm.
I cannot recommend this independent practice enough in helping me in an emergency whilst on holiday in the Yorkshire Dales.
I highly recommend "Hear & Now", a comprehensive hearing test revealed I was suffering hearing loss as suspected by my wife. Michael programmed a pair of hearing aids to my hearing loss and let me try them, I knew then how much my hearing had deteriorated without me realizing.
At no point was I put under any pressure to purchase hearing aids but no way was I going back home without them!
Quality hearing aids are not cheap but are worth every penny and at "Hear & Now" you can be sure Michael will see you have the best to suit your lifestyle with an aftercare package to ensure you are happy.

A first class shop to help with hearing problems. My new hearing aids are very advanced to the extent that if I leave my phone downstairs I can hear the phone ringing and answer the phone upstairs and hold a conversation. So so clever.
Hear and Now Independent Hearing and Tinnitus Specialists in Ripon provides first class, five star audiology services. They have been a great help to me for several years and I cannot rate them too highly. Mike, Yan and their team are professional, efficient, friendly and reassuring. They provide excellent diagnosis and treatment in all aspects of impaired hearing. I recommend them without reservation.
Would highly recommend going here with any hearing problems you might have, I felt very welcomed and they were extremely efficient.
Both reception and audiologist are so helpful and friendly, putting me at ease. Mike addressed all my concerns, solved all my minor problems with the aids, and was very patient with me. I recommend him and the service provided very highly indeed.

I finally decided it was time to do something about my diminished hearing ability. There were several places I could have gone to in Ripon but Hear and Now was recommended by a friend. Consequently I chose Hear and Now to sort out my hearing problems, i have not been disappointed. I am highly satisfied with the comprehensive treatment package which I have received and which I continue to receive. There is always a pleasant relaxed atmosphere at the centre. I will certainly recommend Hear and Now to anyone who asks me. ‘
I am pleased that I took the big decision to go privately for my new hearing aids with Hear & Now. The aftercare service I have experienced is excellent, and I have always found visits to the Ripon establishment to be warm and welcoming.
My wife had been questioning my hearing for some time and I began to think she was right when it was sometimes better to have text on tv programmes rather than try to follow the sound.
Having decided I would try locally and somewhere which would view me as a patient and not just a number, the thorough assessment and clear explanation by Mike very quickly made up my mind. OK hearing aids come at a cost, but those Hear and Now recommended are good, of that there is no doubt and have been worth every penny. Not only that but the pricing includes very comprehensive aftercare. I still miss odd comments my wife makes....but that is by choice and no reflection on the excellent hearing aids Hear and Now prescribed.

My NHS hearing aids were making very little difference to my hearing and I was finding it impossible to follow conversations - especially if there was any background noise. If you can't hear what people are saying you feel isolated and cut off and your answers make no sense to them. Being able to hear far more has given me the confidence to socialise more and play a full part in the conversations going on around me.
It is no exaggeration to say that the hearing aids have given me a new lease of life. The only downside is that I can now hear Robert and his wife but that was a price worth paying.
My wife accused me of not listening to her. She never says this to our labrador...
I chose the easy option and bought some hearing aids- since then my wife finds that it is only the dog who doesn't pay her attention.

I am delighted with my new hearing aids, so is my husband as I take in all he says.. the television has been turned down and I feel that I am partaking in conversations that I lost track of very easily with my National Health Hearing Aids.
